Cardiology EMR changing the way medicine is done
Heart disease continues to be one of the largest causes for death in the United States. Even more daunting is that the costs associated with having a heart attack or heart disease are one the the largest medical expenses there is today. While a lot of attention is focused on health insurance, the real issue is reducing health care expenses. A new cardiology EMR software system that was just released was designed to reduce needless repetitive tests often done because the hospital or cardiologist does not have the patients full medical records in front of them. Medical records need to be digitized so they can be shared with other doctors and hospitals.
