Heel nodules in children are not common. But it is said that there is a localized usually bilateral, painless, non- itching and symmetric round lesions that occur on the posteromedial part of the foot are the clinical features of benign plantar nodules of the heel in children. On the other hand, they are probably congenital. They are usually asymptomatic and benign.  Ultrasound examination of then is usually enough to diagnose this type of lump, without the need for biopsy and/or surgical interventions to distinguish fatty tissue from another type of lumps. Further research studies should aim at showing piezogenic, hamartomatous or congenital fat herniation etiology of these typical lumps. Parents must be concern about this in order to be prevented and diagnose as well on the earlier stage.
