I’m no expert on the Mountain Meadow Massacre (a very sad part of Mormon history), but I have read enough to know that Brigham Young did not order the killing of innocent people. It makes me angry when people state so. This was suggested in the documentary about the church and mormon history and it went uncontested, as if it’s a known fact. From what I was reading, Brigham Young was nowhere near the people who committed those acts and could not have gotten there quick enough to order it, unless they had cars back then, which they didn’t.
