Amazon Kindle – Not The Only Show In Town
The amazon kindle is definitely the hot gadget of the moment – but it’s interesting to note that it’s far from the only show in town. The nearest competition right now comes from Sony in the shape of its PRS ebook reader, a device which is, in terms of the hardware’s technical specification, every bit as good as the Kindle. Amazon’s main advantages right now include the ability to download ebooks using 3G technology, without using a computer and with no monthly fee, and their large library of ebooks available from the Kindle store. However, Sony have tied up with Google to make G’s public domain library available to Sony users.
